  1. Goat milk fat

  2. Plant-based DHA*

  3. 2'FL Fibers (HMO)

  4. Bifidobacterium animalis (BB-12®)

Goat milk fat

Kabrita follow-on milk and toddler milk naturally contain goat's milk fat. Goat's milk fat contributes to Kabrita's mild, creamy taste. This taste is often well received by small children.

By using goat's milk fat, the composition of Kabrita remains as close as possible to the original properties of whole goat's milk. This Supports age-appropriate nutrition for toddlers from 6 months of age if milk continues to be an important part of their daily diet.

Plant-based DHA*

Kabrita follow-on milk and toddler milk contain DHA* (docosahexaenoic acid) and ARA (arachidonic acid). These fatty acids occur naturally in breast milk and are part of a varied diet for young children.

DHA is an omega-3 fatty acid, ARA is an omega-6 fatty acid. Both fatty acids are part of the body's lipid structure and are mainly found in brain and nerve tissue. Kabrita uses plant-based sources for both DHA and ARA.

2'FL Fibers (HMO)

Kabrita follow-on milk and toddler milk contain 2'-fucosyllactose (2'-FL), a special fiber from the group of human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs). 2'-FL also occurs naturally in breast milk and is one of the most common HMOs.

The 2'-FL in Kabrita is carefully selected and added to complement the fiber profile of the infant formula.

Bifidobacterium animalis (BB-12®)

Kabrita follow-on milk and toddler milk contain Bifidobacterium animalis, a carefully selected strain of bacteria. This bacterium belongs to the group of lactic acid bacteria and occurs naturally in the human digestive tract.

The addition of Bifidobacterium animalis is part of the Kabrita composition and contains Bifidobacterium animalis BB-12®, a carefully selected strain.

Iron

Kabrita follow-on milk and toddler milk are enriched with iron. Iron is an important mineral that occurs naturally in foods and contributes to the normal cognitive development of young children.

Kabrita is enriched with iron and contributes to the normal cognitive development of children from 6 months of age as long as milk continues to be part of their daily diet.

Questions you may have

We understand that changing your recipe may raise questions. The table below answers the most frequently asked questions. If your question is not listed, please contact us at contact@kabrita.eu.

At Kabrita we are constantly developing our products and aligning them with the latest scientific findings. This recipe adjustment allows us to offer our most advanced recipe to meet your little one's nutritional needs.

Yes, you can switch to our new recipe without hesitation. It is important that you use all of your current Kabrita product before starting the new recipe. We recommend not mixing the old and new recipes.

When it comes to allergens, nothing has changed in the new recipe. Kabrita remains a product based on goat milk and therefore lactose. Contrary to popular belief, Kabrita is not an alternative for lactose intolerance. Read more about the differences between cow's milk and goat's milk here.

Even with our new recipe, your child can continue to enjoy the creamy, mild taste that you are used to from Kabrita. At Kabrita we always try to make the taste as suitable as possible for your little one.

Kabrita's packaging material has remained unchanged and design changes are minimal. The product therefore remains recognizable by the characteristic white can with the colored goat.

For a short time only Kabrita 2 follow-on milk is available. Soon it will no longer be possible to buy old products via Kabrita.eu.
