Seal the can tightly with the plastic cap. Store Kabrita in a cool, dry and dark place (not in the refrigerator). After opening the package, Kabrita will keep for another 4 weeks.
Prepare the milk no more than 1 hour before you are going to give the formula to your baby. Discard the formula left in the bottle. It is not wise, for hygiene reasons, to reheat the bottle later.
The difference between Kabrita 1 and 2 is mainly the ratio of protein to fat. Kabrita 2 also has a slightly different composition of vitamins and minerals. As a result, the formula is just a little better suited to your little one's development and growth.
Breastfeeding is the ideal food for your baby during the first six months of his life. However, it is perfectly safe to combine breastfeeding with bottle feeding. It will probably take some time for your baby to get used to drinking from a bottle. For example, you can start breastfeeding in the morning and switch to bottle feeding in the afternoon. We recommend that you consult with your doctor (the health care provider closely involved in this growth process) to determine how much and when it is best to use Kabrita.
Some babies don't need any transition time at all and for others it can take up to 2 weeks. It may also depend on the product you used before: breast milk or another brand of formula.
